Good morning Vietnam !!
Today is the day we have all be waiting for is
finally here, with your baggage loaded in our
support van, we head over to the VMT HQ. Meet
the bikes and choose your steed. We are located
on the small road that's perfect for you to become
familiar with your ride.
Today is a incredible journey heading south along the Great Ocean Road of Nha Trang with
spectacular views out across the south China Sea and surrounding islands. Before heading across Cam Ranh Bay and on-wards to the super twisty road that leads us to Vinh Hy. This superb road
carved into the ocean cliff-face is awesome and rarely seen by the outside world.

Our overnight resort has us located on the waters edge of Vinh Hy bay. This stunning seaside village is a real treat.

Enjoy a cool beverage by the pool or join us on a twilight boat ride, exploring the local fishing villages and surrounding bay!! Perfect for a ocean swim.
Day 2 : Vietnam : 140km
Vinh Hy - Dalat
Vinh Hy - Dalat.jpg
Today we ride into the stunning mountains of
the Central Highlands,”A riders Paradise.” As we
ride up the mountain pass heading towards the
hill top retreat of Dalat, you can enjoy breathtaking
views from high up on the mountains, whilst
roadside waterfalls glisten in the sun along the
way.
Famed as the ‘Swiss Alps of Vietnam,’ Dalat holds some very unique European-influenced architecture and has a cooler climate than the surrounding areas. Dalat was a popular respite for commanders and war correspondents alike who were fortunate enough to escape the front
lines. Many strategies were devised here, though Dalat was largely untouched by the fighting.

However, it was in fact home to the National Military Academy. Dalat today is famed as the city of love; partially owing to its flower growing, it has become a popular holiday retreat for young Vietnamese couples. Evenings are cool and the local night market is a must-see.
Day 3 : Vietnam : 155km
Dalat - Lak Lake
Dalat - Lak Lake.jpg
Ready to Ride?
We’ve got another great day ahead! Back in
the saddle, we ride from Dalat to Lak Lake.
Featuring winding back roads that carve through
coffee fields and rural farms, this is an
outstanding ride.
Plenty of stops along the way allow us to try
some local coffee & visit an old (and very
interesting!) silk-making factory.
We will thenpass through some small villages, where you willsee countless farmers tending crops Vietnamesestyle! Roads in these parts are often shared byfarmers & livestock, children walking to and fromschool etc. So keep focused!

You‘ll soon get accustomed to the low speed riding in Vietnam. Not only is at necessary for safety, but it also allows you the time to really take in the sheer beauty of this truly incredible country. We will then arrive at our overnight guesthouse, offering quality rooms with aircon & wifi.

Better still, we are located across from Lak Lake and the surrounding rice fields! Not to mention the constant flow of passing elephants.. Did anyone mention a cold beer too?! Local foods in these regions are super fresh and tasty... Lak Lake is also home to several minority tribes and some traditional villages that are well worth taking the time to look at!
Day 4 : Vietnam : 125km
Lak Lake - Buon Ma Thuot
Lak Lake - Buon Ma Thuot.jpg

province, which was the scene of many conflicts
and heavy bombing by the US Airforce. Today

roads winding through the regions provide not

mighty country.
Our lunch stop is at the impressive Dray Sap waterfalls - great for dip while our lunch is prepared! Back out on the road, our ride will have us arriving at our hotel in BMT Time to relax, take a dip in the pool and sip a cool drink or take a stroll down to the local markets .

One of the longer stretches of riding sets off
today... and it just keeps getting better! More
awesome roads, lush jungle, rubber tree
plantations, altitude changes, minority villages
and much more! Venturing deep and entering the
legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, we will show you
the famed supply route that carves through the
most remote mountain jungles of Vietnam.
Usedby the Viet Cong to send troops and suppliesfrom North to South throughout the raging war, today the Ho Chi Minh trail is a joy for riders tobehold. This incredible road is simply amazing!

Over the coming days you will see Vietnam from a truly unique perspective. This is true motorcycling adventure! You'll appreciate a cold beer and a comfortable bed after today's long haul, which we will be more than happy to provide you with!

negotiate each turn. This is where the bulk of the
riding footage from that famous Top Gear special

l always have the Cold-Chisel song ‘Khe Sanh’
humming through my mind on this road... The
twisting roads that follow Da Krong River hold
views across outstanding scenery. Villagers can
be seen taking care of the day’s washing in the
river, this place is amazing! I really feel alive, my
veins are always filled with ADVENTURE here!
Old traditional handmade village huts line the
roadside, making this a grand day on so many
levels.

Our great ride today has us winding down
through the mountain ranges towards the ancient
city of Hue, dating back to the 4th century based
right in the centre of Vietnam and serves as a
divide between the North and South. Hue,
located on the banks of the Perfume River, was
the national capital until 1945. The Imperial
Citadel is well known for its historic monuments,
which have earned it a place in the UNESCO list
of World Heritage Sites.
